This is one of the most quiet and peaceful places to just put your feet up at camp and chill out with a nice coldy. I have spent several weeks here this year. It has been awesome every day. Put the boat in most days and caught a few nice bass each time. Tip always bleed bass immediately after catching. It makes them better eating for sure. Showers and toilets makes the ten bucks a person per night well worth the price. The management have done a great job out there and their hard work shows. So check it out you will be happy you did.

We have had a few of the Queensland 4x4 Club functions at the Borumba Deer Park and it is fantastic. Being able to use the camp kitchen to cater for our members makes life a lot easier. The kids have fun in summer at the swimming hole. Amenities are always clean. The playground in the Sherwood Forest was a hit with the young ones at our most recent visit. Feeding the deer never gets old! Great family camping.

Should rename it borumba retirement village. Much better atmosphere and facilities down the road at the deer park. They've got playgrounds for kids, access to yabba creek with kayak hire, mini golf, boat hire and huge communal mess hall with power and kitchen. No brainer for me next time
